Introduction
The Western Plains of Victoria have a rich and often unexplored history. They are full of varying ecology, geology and cultural heritage, however they are largely closed off to the general public due to the privatisation of land in western civilisation. Urbanisation threatens the longevity of the plains, and hence our project will aim to revitalise the area to create an “anti-park”. Balancing public use, management of the grasslands and production of native seeds from grass (for both profit and regeneration of grassland), we will explore the ways in which the Western Plains of Victoria can be returned to theVictorian public.
