In June 2020, an audit from the Victorian Auditor General’s Office revealed that the DELWP failed to acquire the land necessary for the proposed Western Grasslands Reserve.

This project attempts to provide an alternative land acquisition methodology to the Melbourne Strategic Assessment through the act of surveying, expansion and burning.
