Luigi Ghirri

Framing ordinary scenes with faceless figures, Ghirri removes the subjectiveness of figures in the scene and makes them part of a simulacra. In the same way, our proposal aims to remove the stigma of human-nature relationships by viewing landscapes through an objective lens.

In the work of Bas Princen, he displays landscapes as well as the unexpected activities that occur within. We are fascinated by the ideas of what or how the notion of public space is created.
